Day 2 {Your Are Not an Accident}

When I was growing up my parents would always tell the story of how surprised they were to find out they were pregnant with me. They already had two boys and were happy with their family and then "surprise" there I was.

Fast forward 27 years later, and I remember the day we found out I was pregnant with our youngest Sophia. I had a terrible time getting pregnant with our first child, Grace, but it was different with Sophia. She was our "surprise". One we didn't know that we needed, until we found out she was on her way. God knew that we needed her, as much as I prayed for and needed Grace.

Today's lesson in my devotional reading focused how no one is an accident and we were all made because we were part of God's Plan. The main thought that stood out to me today was, "God was thinking of you even before he made the world." Wow, how awesome is that?!?!

To think we were on his mind as he was setting the stars in the sky and placing the fish in the ocean, he was thinking of each one of us. It blows my mind. How privileged we each are to be made by the Creator of the Universe!
