A {Momentous} Decision

I recently saw this  quote on Pinterest and it instantly pulled at my heart strings. How very, very TRUE this is!

Tonight my oldest daughter and I were discussing her day at school. Grace is eager to open up about her day, if only asked, so I ask. She told me of how today her class had to stay inside for recess, because of the rain. She continued to talk and talk and talk (something she is quite good at) and then she told me of a sweet little girl in her class, who is often overlooked when it comes to choosing a friend to play with at school. I asked Grace, "Why" the little girl is often forgotten and Grace said it's because she is so quiet and the other children just can't hear her. At this I simply lost it and started to quietly cry, because my heart went out to the other child.

Then my sweet little girl said the words that I wanted to her, "Well Momma, I hear her and I make sure the other people do too". Talk about music to my ears. She put a huge smile on my face and I am sure her Heavenly Father had a smile on his too!

Having children really does change everything. Your heart suddenly knows no bounds. You've never been more scared of anything and everything in your life. Joy is limitless. Pain hits harder then ever. And, Pride beams out of every pore in your body.

For me, it is the most momentous decision I have made, with the exception of choosing to be a follower of Christ! I am so thankful for my children.
