Meals on Monday- Week 2

Welcome to the second week of Meals on Monday. All of these meals come together quickly and are perfect for an evening when you need a quick meal.

Before we get started, I want to share my favorite kitchen design of all time. This gorgeous Farmhouse Kitchen was designed by my favorite Interior Designer, Sarah Richardson. This kitchen is what all Kitchen Dreams are made of. This design will be the inspiration for the kitchen we will be designing, when we build our farmhouse. This kitchen is swoon worthy!

The first recipe is one of my favorite winter go to's and that's Chicken Pot Pie. I am going to try a new recipe this week. I will be saving time by using a rotisserie chicken. I will freeze the remainder of the chicken and use it at the end of the week.

Next is a staple in our weekly meal plan and that's Taco Salad. The girls will more than likely make theirs into Tacos, but I love it in salad form.

We took a trip to the "city" today to do a little shopping at Trader Joe's and I picked up this Frozen Family Meal to try along side with their Fried Rice. Hopefully, it's good.

The next recipe is also a favorite of ours and one that we really enjoy. It tastes just like the California Pizza Kitchen version, but much cheaper to make at home. Just a side note, make your pizza dough the night before or save even more time by using an already prepared crust from the store.

This soup is the bomb-diggity and is my favorite soup ever. It comes courtesy of one of my favorite cooks The Pioneer Woman. This soup gets even better the next day.

The last recipe of the week is one of my husband's favorites and it's the at home version one of Olive Gardens popular soups. I will use the remainder of the rotisserie chicken in this recipe. This soup comes together beautifully and is a real comfort.

As you can see a lot of these recipes are comfort foods and since we are having one of the coldest winters in Kansas, they are hitting the spot. I hope you enjoy these recipes and if you try them for yourself, I'd love some feedback on what you thought of them.
