Christmas...Already???

It's not even October yet and I am already dreaming of Christmas. Really! Christmas songs have been making their way into my head over the last week or so and last night my 3 year old, Sophia and I sang "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer" over and over.

You can't walk into our local Wal-Mart (the largest store we have in our sleepy little town) with out seeing "Layaway is Back" signs. Not to mention the Christmas Trees and Blow-Up Christmas Yard Ornaments that they already have up in the Lawn and Garden section.

I told my husband about "The Four Gift Rule" concept and we both decided to give it a try this year. I want my children to know the "True Meaning" of Christmas, instead of getting lost in the gifts. Christmas is meant to be a special time where life long memories are made and families come together to celebrate the birth of Christ.

 

I have to admit that I am ready for Christmas and look forward to all the wonderful things that come with it. Bring it on!
